Going to get some new junk for the PC this weekend, and I will try again. I have diagnosed the problem as improperly formatted .iso cd's burned on a Vista box and trying to use on an XP system. CD burner = fail, lol. Going to get some CD's this weekend and try again - along with some ram, new box upgrades and some other fun toys. I have really been looking forward to giving the new OS a spin. Of course, I am kind of addicted to the clean logical Ubuntu/GNU interface. I know that once I get it installed my CD burner will magically start working again. The irony! I'm still having issues getting Intrepid installed.
