Well, Randy Jensen Online finally got a little upgrade. I’ve added a couple new pieces of work, but the real upgrade lies within how the images are handled.
Previously, I was using a script from Dynamic Drive that created a rollover popup image using CSS that worked pretty well for the most part. The biggest problem was that the image showed up at an exact location set for it no matter where you are looking on the screen. This meant that if you rolled over an image at the bottom of the page, the image showed up off the screen, defeating the purpose of having the rollovers in the first place.
So I looked around for an alternative method and stumbled upon something that I had thought of doing a long time ago, but just never got around to it. Well, it’s here, and man it looks nice. I decided today was as good of a day as any to sit down and spend it implementing Lightbox JS V2.0. Just go to the site and click on a web page or print piece on the right hand side of the side.
Well, I hope you enjoy it because I know I love it. Also, be sure to check out the new site that I just finished designing (it’s the first site on the right and it’s called BigSkyGirl). Leave me a comment letting me know whether you like it better or, ehh…not so much…which I may hunt you down and bludgeon you with a rusty shovel.
