My New Firefox Tattoo

It’s already started to wear off, but I got this tat at the Trade Show at SXSW. If you put the Firefox logo tattoo on either your neck or head, you got a free shirt. Needless to say, I now have a new t-shirt to wear. Promote Firefox! Support Firefox! Get Firefox!

Sunday Recap At South By Southwest

By Randy Jensen | Mar 12, 2007

South By Southwest LogoWell, this was of course the new daylight savings time day. We made it, just a little late :S. No problem though, we were still able to sit in on some great panels.

10:30-ish

We started the day off with me making my own waffle at the hotel’s little breakfast room. I’m now considering a future in waffle making rather than technology…but that will be a new post. After my waffle-making adventure, it was off to the convention center.

11:30 pm – Design Workflows at Work: How Top Designers Work Their Magic

Our first panel was called Design Workflows at Work: How Top Designers Work Their Magic. The panel consisted of Kelsey Ruger, Veerle Pieters, Bryan Veloso and Jeff Croft.

Saturday Recap At South By Southwest

By Randy Jensen | Mar 11, 2007

Ok, so I’ve finally got some time to sit down and relax and let you guys know what’s going on in Austin at the 2007 South By Southwest Interactive Festival. Here’s what happened on Saturday…

Saturday – March 10

10:15 am

As I’ve already mentioned, we got in a bit late, but we did make it. We went to the hotel to check in, but we were too early so we headed off to the convention center. We had already missed the 10:00 am panel called “A Decade of Style”, a panel about css. Here’s a few shots I took on our way to the center.

Gearing Up For South By Southwest

By Randy Jensen | Mar 6, 2007

It’s hard to believe but SXSW is right around the corner. Other than battling bad health for the past month and a half, I’m pretty excited since this is my first big tech conference.

I’m not entirely sure what to expect, but I am expecting big things. So far, I know Leo Laporte and Kevin Rose are both going to be there. That’s really enough for me to go. I have nothing but respect for these guys and what they’ve done for the industry.

Other than me blabbering, I am going somewhere with this post. I’m going to try to blog (not sure if “live blogging” is really worth it) every day so everyone can that couldn’t make it will be able to see what they’re missing.

I also decided to create a logo for the site so I had something to put on my business cards other than my face…for once, even I’m getting sick of it. Check it out and let me know what you think.
