There’s been a lot of news about Apple ever since they switched from their PowerPC chips to the Intel Duel-Core chip. Now they have revealed how they are going to win back the market share from Microsoft…lock their customers in their stores. There’s not a lot to say here, I just enjoy seeing Apple screw up ever since they released those stupid commercials claiming in a round-about way that they are perfect…or maybe it was just me that saw it that way.
Anyways, News.com released a story about a couple of girls that went to the new “Apple store of the future”, apparently designed completely by Steve Jobs, and were trapped in the glass elevator. For 45 minutes the girls were put on display for passersby while Apple employees dropped bottles of water through the top of the elevator…it was 45 minutes and it’s not like you were trapped in a mine shaft or something! The New York police finally came and got the girls out of the malfunctioning elevator. Make sure you read the story about the exploding iBook which triggered a massive battery recall also…man I love watching you squirm Apple.
